'When One is a Sad One' and more, from Meeah Williams, Brooklyn

The second envelope I received from Meeah on Cranberry Island  … (it's difficult to see the postmark, so couldn't tell which - this or Berry Maritime - was sent first)... is another beauty! Her work is a tapestry of colour, asemics, characters. stories and trashpo.

This is a long hanging piece of 3 ATC sized cards, perhaps a comic strip of ATCs, although the story is definately tragicomic! If I were feeling generous I would send it on to Carina, as I am sure she would appreciate this one as much as I do!

I'm not sure, and I'm not sure again.  The first unsure is because I can't decide if I should read into mail art and the second is because my thoughts and ideas are not rooted in knowing, but in a sense.  I sense an anti-war poem.  Whatever Meeah intended, I hold this book (folded 4 x 6) and feel grave intention and beauty.

Thank you Meeah!  I am so shamelessly not making much mail art at all at the moment, but one day, before too long, I will reply.

Certified Rio G from Albuquerque (Kit Gonzales Moores)

First mail from Kit.  The colour says E Utopia but this card has an american flavour with Rio and 66, the ink is haptic and compelling!  Thank you.
